SWAYING & DRIFTING
Project Overview
Fiber Art/Multi-media Design
As a nature enthusiast, I aim to integrate natural themes with tapestry art, bringing the flora and fauna, mountains, and rivers into the urban forest cast in concrete and steel. Mountains and seas harbor humanity's curiosity and love for the primitive state. Therefore, I designed and created these two pieces, hoping to bring the wild atmosphere back into everyday life as much as possible.
Tools
Procreate, Crochet hook, Needle and thread
Material
Wool, Wire, Organza
Concept
In my presentation, I create a 'micro-forest' effect using a varied tapestry technique. I design images modularly, breaking them into independent modules. 'Swaying' and 'Drifting' draw inspiration from mountain and sea themes, embodying mushroom colonies and jellyfish communities.
